Betty Jean Narmore, age 85, of Sheffield, Alabama, died, Friday, September 15, 2017. The visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 17th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Darrell Pace and Bruce Blakenship will be officiating. Interment will be at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia and Hope Haven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Belle Narmore; and brother, Curtis Narmore.
Survivors include her sisters; Pauline Edens and Peggy Thompson (Robert), and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Billy, Christian, and Liam Stanield, Benny Thompson, Dylan Puckett, and Curtis Peters.
The family would like to express sincere thanks to the wonderful staffs at Cypress Cove Nursing Home and Keller Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Arc of the Shoals or to a charity of your choice.
