Graveside service for Betty Jean (Morris) Terry, age 78, of Decatur will be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Midway Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jimmy Chenault officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Terry, who died Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Decatur Health & Rehabilitation, was born October 28, 1945, in Alabama to Luther Andrew Morris and Opal Waters Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Morris; and sister-in-law, Linda Morris.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney D. Terry (Pat) and Craig Terry (Shannon); brother, Jerry Morris; sister, Charlotte M. Landham (Jimmy); four grandchildren, Leah Terry Parker (Zach), Allee Terry Kitchens (Nathan), Drey Terry, and Adam Terry (Kylie); and six great-grandchildren, Brady Sherrill, Zoe Parker, Bo Parker, Everley Terry, Krew Kitchens, and Truett Terry.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Todd, Adam Terry, Drey Terry, Zach Parker, Brady Sherrill, and Nathan Kitchens.
