Betty Jean Hudson age 79 of Athens, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Hudson was born July 20, 1935 to John Cooley and Lula Mae Harrison Cooley.
Services will be Sunday, May 17, 2015 3:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hudson was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her son, Randall Carl Hudson.
Survived by her husband, Carl Loyd Hudson; one daughter, Vicki Hudson Stringer and husband, Steve; one son, Rodney Scott Hudson and wife, Paula; five grandchildren, Amy Stringer Dewberry and husband, Marty, Jonathan Hudson and wife, Kelly, Tiffany Stringer, Tyler Hudson and Jordan Hudson; one great-granddaughter, Elena Rose Hudson; daughter-in-law, Karen Hudson; numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
