Betty Jean Hatton Gillespie, age 80, of Trinity, Alabama, died Monday, November 7, 2022. Betty was born on July 25, 1942, to Roy O’Neal Hatton and Yetta Hatilean Butler Hatton, of Hatton, Alabama. Parkway Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Doreatha D. Gillespie of Trinity, Alabama; one grandson, Christopher Terry and Mia of Trinity, Alabama; and two great-grandchildren, Alexah Terry of Charleston, West Virginia, and Hayden Kelley of Eva, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Yetta; and many friends and relatives.
Private services will be held for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity.
