Betty Jean Coffman, age 71 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Coffman was born January 13, 1948 in Limestone County to Milton Clem and Donnie Orene Hughes.
Services for Mrs. Coffman will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Josh Looney officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Coffman, Sr.; children, Alfred Freddy Coffman, Jr., John Carroll, Louann Komiensky, Marvin Carroll, Kay Coffman, Jerry Carroll, Alfred F. Coffman II and, Elizabeth Olivas; 24 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Coffman; sisters, Mildred Vanzant and Anny Faye Shirley; brother, Allen Ray Clem.
Pallbearers are Bobby Taylor, James Coffman, Gary Coffman, Rock Coffman, Tracey Waddel and Larry Coffman.
