Betty Jean Bradford, 75, of Madison, AL passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 after a longbattle with cancer.
She was an incredible woman, wife, mother and grandmother who was always there for her
family. Throughout her career as a cosmetology instructor she was fortunate to touch many
lives. She was always so proud of the ones that she could call “hers.” Each and every life that
she touched was a blessing to her and they all left a lasting impression on her heart. She was a
light to all of those who knew her. She was a true pioneer of her craft whose legacy will live on
through those whose hearts she touched.
Mrs. Bradford is survived by her husband, Sloan Bradford; sister, Carol Williams; daughter,
Tammy Patterson (Bryan); four sons, Joseph Bradford (Mari), Daniel Bradford (Denise), Terry
Bennett, and Mark Bradford; twelve grandchildren, Nata, NaCole, Jeremy, Vanessa, Anthony,
Bryan, Andrew, Chandler, Lyndsey, Zachary, Natasha, Nick; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, October 28th from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church
followed by service at 2:00 with Rev. Alan Weatherly officiating. Burial is at Huntsville Memory
Gardens.
