Funeral service for Betty Jane Pugh Turner, age 72, of Moulton, will be Thursday, October 26, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church, Hillsboro, with Rev. Barry Cater officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Liberty Grove Cemetery in Winston County.
Mrs. Turner, who died Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Huntsville Hospital, was born June 21 , 1945, in Winston County, to James W. Pugh and Verna King Pugh. She was preceded in death by daughter Susan, her parents, and one sister, Mary Kelley. Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and a loyal member of Harmony Baptist Church for a number of years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Turner of Moulton; two sons, Tim Turner (Deanna) and Bobby Turner (Amy), both of Danville; one daughter, Angela Hampton (Larry) of Hartselle; and seven grandchildren, Jesse, Erin, Blake, Sara Beth, Adam, Molly, and Jack.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
