Betty Jane Hargrove 78, of Ardmore, AL died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens, Alabama.
Born Monday, April 28, 1941 in Limestone County, AL, she was the daughter of Richard Edward Wales and Ila Mae Dugger Wales.
Betty was a proud member of the UAW. She loved working at General Motors, which she retired from after 30 years of service. Her biggest blessing was her grandchildren, Chase and Lauren; and her great-grandson, Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doug Hargrove; son, Phil Hargrove; and brother, Lloyd “Bo” Wales.
Betty is survived by her grandson, Chase Hargrove, Ardmore, AL; granddaughter, Lauren Hargrove, Pulaski, TN; great-grandson, Bryant Roettger, Pulaski, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 3:00 PM with Bro. Hobo Eubanks officiating. The family will have a private burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
