Betty Jacqueline Fairbanks Chaffin, age 87, of Priceville Alabama passed away at her home on Tuesday March 10, 2026.
She was born on August 6, 1938, in Priceville, and lived no more than a mile away from where she was born. She was the oldest of 13 children born to David and Frances Fairbanks.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her son Joe D. White (Donna), her late husband’s son Warren Mink (Patricia), four grandchildren, Kristin Colvert (Michael), Blake White (Jessica), John- David White, and Caroline White, and six great grandchildren, Brayden White, Lawson Colvert, Asher Colvert, Hudson White, Elise Colvert and Wylan White.
A graveside service will be held at Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Priceville on
Wednesday March 18, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
Shelton Funeral Home had the Honor of assisting the family.
