Betty Hubbard Hammock – Obituary

Betty Hubbard Hammock, 68, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Itawamba County, Mississippi and was a homemaker. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Services will be Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Brother Tim Farley and Brother Terry Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are her husband, William E. Hammock, Vina, Alabama; three children, Mary Dugan (Ed) Conyers, Georgia, Shelia Bancroft (Stephen), St. Louis, Missouri, and John Hammock (Irasema) Birmingham, Alabama; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jack, and Ripley; and one sister-in-law, Peggy Hubbard, Red Bay, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman Edward Hubbard and Ester Ollie Mink Hubbard; and two brothers, Sherman Hubbard and Lebron Hubbard.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 22, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
