Funeral service for Betty Hawthorne, 81, will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Jones, Bro. Kent and Anthony Vincent officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roundtop Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hawthorne died on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Hendrix Health Care Center in Double Springs. She was born December 26, 1934, in Jackson County to Carl Carr and Mattie Wilson. She was a member of the Assembly of God and a former employee of Summerford Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband: H.W. Hawthorne, her parents, her a sister and two brothers.
