Betty Faye Denson, age 81, of Arley passed away Saturday July 25, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born September 18, 1944 to Duel and Gladys Farley. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in The Helicon Community. Mrs. Denson will lie in state on July 29th from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 3:00 p.m. Brother Greg Dollar will officiate. Burial will be at the adjoining cemetery. Betty is survived by her husband of 64 years of marriage, Michael Denson; son, Rodney (Tina) Denson; daughter, Maryann Denson; granddaughters, Hillary Ploppert, Hannah (Michael) Sullivan, and Emily (Michael) Rowe; great granddaughters, Olive and Maple Rolley; sisters, Kay Breed and Joyce (Bob) Kennedy; brother-in-law, Wayne (Shirley) Denson; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys “Jane” Farley; father, Duel “Hoss” Farley; brothers, Bob and Darrell Farley; mother-in-law, Minnie Denson; and brothers-in-law, Jack and Brent Denson.
