Funeral service for Betty E. Sparkman Griffith, 85, will be Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Tankersley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moss Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Griffith died on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born March 16, 1940, in Morgan County, to Pruitt Wilson Sparkman and Bernice Irene England.
She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. She was a christian woman, who loved cookbooks, playing cards, the Atlanta Braves and Alabama Football. Her family was the most loved in her life and she was married to her beloved, George, for 59 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a son- Michael Griffith.

Brother – Ricky England,
Grandchildren –
Ashley Hagl, Joshua Terry (Courtney),

Jessica Ezell (Ben), and Sarah Emmert.
Eleven Great Grandchildren and
One Great Great Grandchild
Pallbearers will be Joshua Terry, John Frye, Guy Terry, Gregg Griffith, Brian Hill and Adam Meyer.
