 Betty Clark Richardson, age 83, of Lewisburg passed away peacefully at Maury Regional Medical center on January 13, 2025. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and moved to Nashville in 1959.

Ms. Betty retired after 30 years from Tennessee Preparatory School and worked for Senator Douglas Henry for 15 years. She moved to Lewisburg in 2006 and assisted her husband, Floyd Richardson, in ministry of the Seniors at Lifesong Family Church.

Ms. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a stepson, Paul (Marty) Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Richardson of Lewisburg, stepdaughter, Sabrina Current of Culleoka, stepson, James Floyd Richardson, Jr. of Lewisburg, and stepson Gaylon Frank Richardson of Goodlettsville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A dear sister-in-law, Priscilla Potts of Culleoka also survives.

Ms. Betty was a Christian and a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Culleoka.

Visitation will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, 2479 Culleoka Hwy, Culleoka, TN, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 10:00 am until the funeral hour at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery at the church.

Ms. Betty was an animal champion, especially for dogs. In lieu of flowers, any contribution in her memory to the Lewisburg Animal Shelter, 300 Woodside Ave, Lewisburg, TN 37091, will be appreciated.
