Funeral for Betty Bumgart, 93, of Moulton will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Waymon Ashley, Rev. Jonathan Tyler, Rev. Shane Williams and Rev. Luke Bumgart officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bumgart, who died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at her residence, was born September 2, 1924, to Erby Stehenson and Ada Smith Stephenson. She was a member of Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jeff Bumgart; parents; sister, Coralee Stephenson; and two brothers, Herman Stephenson and Ermon Stephenson.
Survivors include four daughters, Merle Warren, Peggy Hood, Jenny (Rev. Charles) Williams and Rhonda Bumgart; son, Rev. Wayne (Teresa) Bumgart; sister, Sarah Sullivan; 11 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Farrol, Scott Dotson, Darryl Warren, Brandon Dotson, Nicholas Bumgart, Allen Ray and Nathan Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Hood, Jonathan Sapp, David Sapp and Anthony Hood.
Donations may be made to her duaghter Rhonda Bumgart.
