Funeral service for Betty Blackwood, 81, will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Danville Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Ms. Blackwood died on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born September 5, 1937, in Cullman County to Luther Amos Thomas and Mildred Marie Kelley Thomas. She was a member of Danville Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Blackwood and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Stacey Blackwood, Allen Blackwood, Jake Thomas, Matt Worsham, Jarrod Thomas and Zane Orr.
