Betty Beavers Belovsky, age 78, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Ridout’s Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Ben Hayes will officiate.
Betty was born Sept. 19, 1938, in Morgan County to William Clifford Beavers and Carrie Mae Beavers, who both precede her in death. She is also preceded by one son, Vasyl William Belovsky Jr.; and by one sister, Inez Pless. She was a member of South Side Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with Hospice of the Valley and a substitute teacher for Decatur City Schools.
Survivors include her husband, Vasyl William Belovsky Sr.; one son, Nick Belovsky (Michelle); two granddaughters, Caroline and Emma Belovsky; and one sister, Hazel Dietrich.
