Betty Ann Green, age 67, of Haleyville, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 20, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Travis and Charlene Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the services will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Amy Hulsey; granddaughters, Hannah Rayburn and Amber Hulsey; sister, Pauline Chandler; brothers, Charlie Mitchell and Jackie Mitchell; husband, Robert Thrasher; great grandson, Aldrich; Hannah’s papa, Mark Green; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Mitchell; father, Travis Mitchell; husband, Ray Hulsey; son, Heath Hulsey; sisters, Patsy Dixon and Gina Loveless; brothers, Randall Mitchell, Jimmy Mitchell, and Tommy Mitchell.
There are no words to even begin to describe how precious Betty was to all. She could put a smile on anyone’s face and keep everyone laughing on their worst days. Betty truly was the light and sunshine in everyone’s life. An angel here on earth and forever our guardian angel.
