Bettie Malone Willis 82 of Muscle Shoals, passed away November 27, 2013 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Muscle Shoals.
She retired from Valley Credit Union and enjoyed all of her customers and everybody she met. She was a very out-going person who never met a stranger and loved life.
Visitation will be Friday November 29, from 1-2 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services to begin at 2:00 P.m. in the chapel. Burial to follow
at Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville, AL. Brother Ted Vafeas officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Neal Willis Sr. parents, Louie Edward and Annie Louie Malone and brother Louie Edward Malone Jr.
Bettie is survived by her loving sons , Neal (Lessa ), Ed (Sheila) and Michael (Jami).
Eight grandchildren, Sarah Singleton (A.J.), Jeffery Willis, Nick Willis (Hayley), Bradley Willis (Cayce), Brooke Willis, Kyle Willis (Brittany), Chad Willis (Mallory) and Hope Willis. One great-granddaughter, Brynlee Willis.
Also survived by brothers, George Malone (Julia), Harold Malone and Ray Malone (Betty).She is also survived by a sister-in-law Sue Burnham (Billy Joe) and several nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers
The sons would like to thank the staff of Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home (Station 4) for the wonderful care and love shown to their mother during her stay.
