Bethel Shackelford Rhema, age 74, of Sulligent, AL passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL. The family has chosen cremation and no memorial services are scheduled at this time.
Bethel was born on July 14, 1947 in Vernon, AL to the late Lolyd “Monk” Elbert Shackelford and the late Mildred Rushing. She attended schools in Lamar County. Bethel previously worked in the garment industry. She enjoyed watching old movies, going to yard sales and spending time with her grandchildren. Bethel was a member of Celebration Worship Center.
