Bessie Hurst Searcy, 67, Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.
The visitation will be 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Ric Chambless and Bobby Bolton will speak at the service. Burial will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is survived by her grandson, Aron Risley (wife, Amanda); great-grandson, Crimson Risley; sisters, Dorothy Simpson, Rachel Guthrie, Mary Staggs; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Searcy; son, Lee Searcy, daughter, Maria Searcy Risley; mother, Martha Ocilee Bonner; and father, Michael Paul Hurst.
The pallbearers will be Aron Risley and Justin McLemore.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
