Funeral service for Bessie Grace Cole Byrd, 87, formerly of Hartselle, will be Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 1:00PM at Salem United Methodist Church with Bro. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 2, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Byrd died October 31, 2020 in Mobile. She was born April 13, 1933 in Morgan County to Walter L. Cole and Sallie Mae Cowan Cole. She previously worked for Fly Manufacturing. Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Troy Byrd; son, Harold Byrd; daughter, Montrisha Byrd; and four brothers, Hollis Cole, Lawrence Cole, Oakley Cole and W.L. Cole.
