Funeral for Bertie Russell, 98, will be Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Corinth Methodist Church with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Russell died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She was born April 30, 1918, in Lawrence County to Frank Osborn and Mary Dobbs Osborn. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Horace E. Russell and per parents.
Survivors include one son, Euin Russell (Becky), Lincoln, Alabama; one daughter, Glenda McAbee, Douglasville, Georgia; three brothers, Palmer Osborn, Decatur, William Osborn, Chicago, Illinois and Doyle Osborn, Hartselle; two sisters, Leanna Denton, Decatur and June Clark, Priceville; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
