Bertie Mae Yates, age 78 of Nauvoo, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Chris Pschirer will officiate.
Mrs. Yates was preceded in death her Father-Euel Butler; Mother-Helen Hill Butler; Siblings-Edward Butler (Margie), Euelene Keeton (Ralph), Faye Kirkland (Joe), Loretta Hill (Carlos) and Cecil Butler (Tammy); Mother-in-law and Father-in-law-John and Josie Yates.
She is survived by her Husband of 58 years-Glendon Yates of Nauvoo; Daughter-Melissa Burns (Kenneth) of Jasper; Sons-Glen Edward Yates and Glendon “Wade” Yates (Beverly) both of Nauvoo; Sister-in-law-Jimmie Sue Fitzgibbons; Grandchildren-Erica Burns, Rachel Hardin, Cheyanne Yates, Hailey Yates and Jonathan Yates; Great Grandchildren-Kendall Burns, Aubree Bennett, Kylie Webb and Tristin Harbin.
