Ms. Bertha Mae Wallace Snead, age 82 of Beaverton, AL (Fairview Community) passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, in Cottondale, AL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm, from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Pastor James Godsey and Rev. Warren Brown to officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday May 31, 2018 from 12:00 pm until service time at 1:00 pm, from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.
Ms. Bertha was born June 1, 1936 in Lamar County, AL to the late Earlie Wallace and Lestie Hollis. Bertha was a Graduate of Todd High School. She was a seamstress and previously worked at Healthtex in Guin, AL. She also previously worked as a Home Health Aide. Ms. Bertha was a member of Roxanna Baptist Church and previously taught Sunday School there. She loved reading her Bible. She presently attended Celebration Worship Center in Crossville, AL.
