Bertha Haddock “Meme” age 81 passed away on January 24, 2015. Bertha was an active member of Judson Baptist Church for 56 years. She was also very active with the Judson Jewels and a member of the Faithful Friends Sunday School Class. She was also active with Sears Credit Central and Retirees where she worked for 53 years. Mrs. Haddock is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Ralph Haddock; sisters, Marie Griggs, Louella Andrews, Mamie Dixon, Dorothy Clay; brothers, Robert Stockard and Harvel Stockard. Bertha is survived by her daughter Sandra (Les) Reed; grandchildren, Justin(Ashley) Reed and Shannon Reed; sisters, Grace Anger, Pauline (Buford) Kilburn, Elsie (Jerry) Cothran; brother, Edmond (Margaret) Stockard and a loving sister-in-law Velma Stockard. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday from 2 o’clock until 8 o’clock in the evening at Judson Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:30 am at Judson Baptist Church. Graveside service will follow at Gallaher Cemetery, Waynesboro, TN at 3:30 pm with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family locally. Honorary Pallbearers will be Judson Jewels, Sears Credit and Retirees and the Faithful Friends Sunday School Class. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
