  Obituary of Bertha Frances OstrowskiBertha Frances Ostrowski, 86, was born July 7, 1939, in Vermont, and passed away May 31, 2026. She resided in Meridianville, Alabama.

A devoted Catholic, Bertha lived her faith with quiet steadiness and reverence. She found joy in the simple, enduring gifts of life—time in her garden, the promise of travel, and, most of all, being surrounded by family. In every season, she carried herself with dignity and grace, offering a presence that was both grounding and deeply cherished.

Bertha was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Norbert Ostrowski.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Ostrowski (Edward Minett), Maria Dias (Mark), and Terri Ostrowski (Pam Ratliff); grandchildren, Tyler Turner (Katie), Nicole Mason (Daniel), Brandon Turner (Kendall), Anthony Dias (Ashley), and Bethany Turner; sisters, Virginia Raymond, Sue Ruokonen, Christina Fippinger, and Blanche Coulombe; and great-grandchildren, Riley, Ryder, Lily, Luca, Rowan, Mason, Lance, and Mila.

Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 625 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, AL 35802, on June 5, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will follow at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on June 5, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Valhalla Memory Gardens & Funeral, 698 WINCHESTER RD NE, HUNTSVILLE, AL 35811, on June 5, 2026, from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
