Bernice Lorene Woods, 88 of Vinemont, entered into rest on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Bernice was born on July 29, 1929 in Cullman. Bernice was an avid quilter. She love to garden and bake.
Services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 12pm at Mt. Vernon Methodist Church, Vinemont. Brother Jerry Fleming will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Methodist Church Cemetery.
Bernice is survived by her son, Chuck Woods and wife Loretta; daughters, Pat Moore, Renee Mullins; brothers, Curtis (Ann) Thompson, Brent (Mary) Thompson; sisters, Elvie Freeman, Mildred Turner, Marie Sherrell, and Stella Freeman. She was “Granny” to 13 grandchildren, Erika (Jesse), Kelly, Amber, Tiffany, Charity, Tamisha, Nicole, Jenny, Brent, Wayne, Keith, Ricky, Amanda; and a host of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Orval Woods; daughter, Carolyn Farmer; 2 grandchildren, Hope and Chris; parents, Joe and Elsie Thompson; sisters, Faye Nazzaro and Hilda Campbell; brothers, Art Thompson and Kent Thompson.
