Bernice Louise Baggett Gardner, age 88, of Sheffield, died Thursday, August 6, 2015. Her family will receive friends Sunday, 1-2:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be graveside at 3 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Mrs. Gardner was a native of Corinth, MS and was a member of First Baptist Church, Sheffield and the Railroad Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Neal Gardner.
Survivors include her son, Dannie Neal Gardner (Anna), daughter, Kathy Gardner Williamson; grand-children: Stephanie Williamson Lacina (Dan), Laura Lee Gardner Gray (Michael), Anna Catherine Gardner, Martha Neal Gardner, great-grandchildren: Madeline Neal Lacina and Alexander James Lacina.
Pallbearers are Michael Gray, Dan Lacina, Carl Casiday, Travis Nelson, Lewis Patterson and Larry Pratt.
The family expresses special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama, Anna, Coco, Kelly, and Dr. Lynn Ridgeway.
