Funeral service for Bernice Barnett, 91, will be Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Family to speak and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barnett died on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1924, in Winston County to Susan Williams Ballard. She was a production worker for Prestolite prior to retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband: Hezzie Barnett, and children: Billy Barnett, Eddie Barnett and Vicky Denson.
