Bernard Wade Cole, 74, of Danville passed away Thursday, April 16,2020 at his residence. Visitation will be from 10:15 am till 10:40 am on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Aldridge Grove Cemetery with Josh Mcguire officiating. Burial will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery.
Bernard was of the Baptist faith, and was a graduate of Speake High School.
He is survived by two sons, Darren Cole, (Rose), and Jonathan Cole, (Karen); three grandchildren, Dustin Cole (Jessica), Joseph Cole (Brittany) and Emily Cole; three great-grandchildren, Jacie, Gunner and Daiden; one brother, Willard Cole, (Nadine); and one sister in law, Joyce Cole.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Cole, and Rena Melson Cole; two sisters, Francis Hyde, and Betty Joe Cole; and two brothers, Harold Gene Cole, and Curtis Cole.
Pallbearers will be family.
The family extends special thanks to Kindred Hospice, Home Instead Senior Care, and Misty Luke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
