Berlie Weaver – Obituary

Berlie-Waever-1438782326Berlie Weaver was born January 28, 1937 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Lonnie and Nora McIntyre Weaver.

He was united in marriage to Carolyn Faye Morgan on June 10, 1979.

Mr. Weaver was a carpenter most of his life building houses all McNairy County. He later worked for McNairy County Board of Education in the maintenance department for 10 years. After his retirement, he went to work at Food Giant in Selmer and had been working there for 8 years. He enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals, Gunsmoke, and westerns. He was a gardener, hunter, and loved spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. Weaver served his country honorably in the United States Army.

Mr. Weaver departed this life on August 5, 2015 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 6 Months, 8 Days. He is survived by his wife, Faye Weaver of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Brenda Williams and husband Rick of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Mike King and Jeremy King both of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Duane Weaver and wife Arlene of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Gay King and Diane Walker both of Selmer, TN; 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Flatt.
