Benny Lynn Nicholson
March 23, 1958 ~ July 28, 2023 (age 65)

Benny was born and spent his formative years in Memphis, Tennessee. He sowed his wild oats in and  around the Dallas, Texas area and finally settled down and hit full maturity living in and around the  Huntsville, Alabama area.

Benny is proceeded in death by Mary Lois Pike who was both his mother and father and she rocked  those roles, his wife of many years Diana Louise Nicholson, whom he lovingly referred to as his “Sweet  Pea”, Wingnut, his 4 legged “son” of 16 years and of course all of those family members who passed long  before him.

Benny is survived by his twin brother, also known as his “womb mate”, Barry Nicholson of Toney,  Alabama, his much younger sister whom he lovingly referred to her whole life as “Squirt”, Selena Sevy  (Tim) of Athens Alabama, his bonus sister, who may not be of blood but was the sister of his heart,  Patricia Nicholson of Huntsville Alabama, a plethora of nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews  and last but not least, Spock, his 4 legged “son” for the past 4 years.

Those who knew Benny loved him and his sharp wit. Benny was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee  Volunteers and NASCAR fan, he loved singing Elvis karaoke, playing Madden football with his twin and  when he got the chance, traveling to Tunica, Mississippi for a little relaxing time giving them his money.

Benny was baptized several times in his life. Apparently he really wanted to make sure he could catch  that bus to heaven. Benny was a firm believer in God so we are pretty sure he caught that bus.

Benbo we will forever love you…fly high Bubba.
