Mr. Benny Joe Dodd, age 77, of Lynn, Alabama passed away Tuesday December 30, 2014. He was retired as an equipment operator from the coal mines and was a member of Crossroads Church of Christ.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 12 noon until 2:00 P.M. at Crossroads Church of Christ, Lynn, Al. with service following at 2:00 P.M. at the church, Daniel Farris officiating. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
Survivors are his wife: Annell Dodd; children, Reba Box, Greg Dodd and Gina Stein; brother, Ernest Dodd; sisters, Lois Elkins and Carol Ann Cagle; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Annie Tittle Dodd; brothers and sisters, Norman Dodd, Randall Dodd, Cozette Farris, Jackie Mobley, Janelle Tubbs, Jean Redman, Jeanette Ferguson, Milly Tucker and Laverne Norris.
Pallbearers are Jason Farris, Kyle Smith, Heath Bambarger, Stephen Box, Dallas Taylor and Chad Fell.
Honorary pallbearers are Griffin Lynn, Preston Henderson and Dylan Dodd.
