Bennie Ward, age 66, of Sulligent, AL passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 in Sunflower County, MS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 1:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Elder Steve Gunter to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Bennie was born on September 6, 1952 in Aberdeen, MS to the late Arthur Ward and the late Sarah Cribbs. He attended Todd High School in Vernon, AL. Bennie worked as a tax preparer. He enjoyed building things and reading.
