Bennie worked for years as an electrician and he and his family enjoyed traveling for work. He was a good man, a devoted husband, and a loving father that he didn’t have to be. He loved his family more than anything, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and simply loved his life.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 46 years, Cathy Garrison Galbreath; children, Shannon Welch (Christy), Angela Hart (Larry); grandchildren, Jasmine, Brianna, Douglas, Shane Lee, Tanner; great-grandchildren, Jesus, Stetson; siblings, Margaret Parrish (James), Sharon Blankenship (Tommy), Karen Guy (Tony); and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Galbreath; mother, Betty Sue Edwards Willis; and brother, Robert Galbreath.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. Bro. Kent Walker will officiate the funeral. The burial will be at Frost Chapel Cemetery.
