Funeral service for Bennie H. Griffin, 84, will be Monday, May 8, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Griffin died on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at his residence. He was born Tuesday, November 22, 1938, in Morgan County to Weems Ulick Griffin and Ellen Myra Henderson Griffin.
He was employed by Chrysler Corporation as a Design Checker, prior to his retirement. He served as the President of the UAW. He loved his farm, had cows and horses and enjoyed deer hunting and his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
