Bennie Burns Smith, 77, Tuscumbia, transitioned to his Heavenly home on March 30, 2024. No services will be held at this time.
He was a retired truck driver in the Shoals area and was loved by all.
Bennie is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Diane Smith; son, Benny Smith (Jennifer); daughter, Shelia Bryant (Tim); daughter-in-law, Mistie Smith; sisters, Betty Sue Kerby, Dorothy Wilson (Benny), and Elaine Perkins (Joe); grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (Liz), Deven Smith (Michelle), Chandler Cain, Kaitlyn Cain (Noah), Austin Smith, Andrew Smith, Roman Green, Timothy Bryant (Kirsten), and Jessica Juggler (Cameron); and great-grandchildren, Trevin and Taytum Smith, Hazel Smith, Olivia, Emma, and Lyla Griffen, Bentley Juggler, Scarlett and Luka Bryant, and Zayden Bryant.
Bennie was preceded in death by his son, Brian Smith; parents, Floyd and Louise Smith; and several brothers and sisters.
