Benjamin Steven Looney, 62, of Florence, passed away December 4, 2016 at E.C.M. Hospital. He was a retired 5th grade school teacher with Waterloo School.
Mr. Looney was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Delphine (Gambel) Looney.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Looney; a daughter, Christina Looney; a step daughter, Jennifer Rahn; and granddaughter, Elyssa Smith. He is also survived by his sisters Kathy Killen from Killen, AL and Ateka Looney of Iron City, TN; 2 nieces, and 1 nephew.
No services will be held per Steve’s request. A memorial will be held at a later date in the Great Smoky Mountains.
