A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Benford Mayfield, 82, will be Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Hartselle Memory Gardens with Bro. Randy Lawson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Mayfield died on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born August 20, 1941, in Morgan County, to Johnny K. Mayfield and Hazel Harvel Mayfield.
He was employed as a Welder for C & C Fabrication for over 50 years, prior to his retirement. He loved playing golf and in his younger days playing basketball. He enjoyed Alabama Football and spending time with his two boys.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Penny Lee Mayfield.

Four Grandchildren
Three Great Grandchildren
