Ben Tate Ben Tate, 48, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Natalie, and their daughter, Addison; his parents, Doug and Julia Tate; sister, Anita Tate; his twin brother, Zachary and his wife, Cathie; along with many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

He attended high school at Madison Academy and then went on to Troy University where he received his bachelor’s degree in marketing. Shortly after college he started working in construction sales with Sequatchie Concrete Service. In 2000 he, along with his father and brother, started his own business, Tate Service, Inc.

Natalie and Ben attended Madison Academy together. They reconnected in 1996 and were married in 2001. In 2004 they gave birth to their beautiful daughter.

Ben was a faithful member at Church of the Highlands where he served the community of Huntsville with a heart of gold. He will be best remembered for his servant’s heart, his passion for people, and never meeting (and not helping) a stranger.

Visitation will be held at the Church of the Highlands, Huntsville campus on Wednesday, March 24th from 11:00 a.m. to noon, with services to follow with the Pastor Allen Pedram officiating. A private burial for family will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Church of the Highlands.
