Pastor Ben S. Johnson, Jr., age 70 of Huntsville passed away July 18, 2018.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Virginia Johnson; three children Robert Johnson, Steven Johnson, and Virginia Lynn Knox (Ray); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; extended family fifteen grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; two sisters Joyce Weaver and Diane Koonce; two brothers Thomas Johnson and Paul Simmons; four sisters-in-law Peggy O’Brien, Barbara Fisher (Jay), Linda Harris (Wayne), Becky Nevil; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Evelyn Johnson, four sisters, and three brothers.
Pastor Ben S. Johnson was the founder of Walking by Faith Church.
Visitation is Friday, July 20, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday, July 21, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home officiated by Brother Carl Wade Edward. Burial will be in Neal’s Chapel Cemetery.
