Belvaree “Bev” Jones of Athens, Alabama, passed from this earth on September 15, 2017, two months shy of her 95th birthday. She was born Belvaree McManus in McCracken County Kentucky on November 14, 1922. She was the daughter of Ed and Lalah McManus. She was married for 56 years to Ellis A. Jones who preceded her in death in 1999. Bev had three sons, Ronald, Steven, and Tommy Jones all living in Northern Alabama. She also had six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Bev, a member of the Church of Christ for most of her life, will be sorely missed.
No services are scheduled at this time. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
