Mrs. Belva Jean Redus, age 80, of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at her residence.
Mrs. Redus was born February 22, 1946, in Sulligent, AL, to the late Ernest and Hattie Mason Price. She was retired from Chromalox, and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel White, and her brother, Ronal Price.
Funeral services will be Thurday, July 23, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Travis Brown and Ricky McGee officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Trey Wheeler, John Isabell, Daniel Redus, Luke Redus, Tatum Colbaugh, and Brentley Redus
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Ronnie Redus, of Vernon, AL; three sons, John Redus, Tim (Tina) Redus, and Paul (Krissy) Redus, all of Vernon, AL; nine grandchildren, Trey (Heather) Wheeler, Hillary (John) Isabell, Daniel Redus, Kenlyn White, Luke Redus, Brentley Redus, Blake Redus, Kenna Stockman, and Peyton Stockman; eight great-grandchildren, Logan and Ethan Wheeler, Bella and Tatum Colbaugh, Karter and Wheeler Bradford, and Asher and Alaina Isabell; and one sister, Carolyn Hollis.
