Belinda Joan Rikard, age 62, of Tuscumbia, went to her Heavenly home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2018. A graveside service will be Tuesday, April 24th at 2 p.m. at Piney Grove Cemetery, with Brother Clay Rikard officiating.
Belinda loved her family, Braves baseball, Alabama football, and making quilt tops. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bessie Rikard; sister, Cecile Landers; and brother, Elvin Rikard.
She is survived by her sisters, Nina Mae Malone, Margaret Mitchell and husband Ted, all of Tuscumbia; and brother, James Rikard of Florence.
Pallbearers will be Scottie and Daniel Mitchell, Doug Garrison, Austin Stacey, Tim Malone, and Matt Hill.
Special thanks from the family to all the women who helped take care of Belinda over the years, and the two special women that helped with her close to the end.
