Mr. Beecher B. HydeBeecher B. Hyde, age 95, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away on August 9, 2026. He was born on November 5, 1930.

Beecher began his career in radio announcing in 1955 with WAVU and continued working in radio on and off for many years. He became a well-known and beloved voice in the community and was loved by many. Above all, Beecher dearly loved his siblings and family and treasured the time he spent with them.

Mr. Hyde is survived by his son, Ronald Beecher Hyde; grandson, Chaston Beecher Hyde (Whitley); sisters, Ladora Painter and Rosa Lee Hooten; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Hyde; father, L.F. Hyde (Buna); mother, Rosa Hyde; sisters, Mildred Shirley and Joe Creel; and brothers, J.B. Hyde, Johnny Hyde, James Hyde, and Ben Hyde.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home.

Visitation will also be held Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Bro. Chris Watkins and Bro. Jerri Manasco will be officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chase Hyde, Chris Watkins, Mike Smith, Wayne Hunt, Chad Thomas, and Casey Underwood.
