Ms. Becky Lynne Stanford Tucker, age 63, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.
Ms. Tucker was born in Millington, TN, on November 30, 1959. She was an accountant for several years with Jo’s Tax Service until she opened her own business of Tucker’s Tax Service, which she operated until her passing. She will be remembered for her patient and loving ways, and her constant desire to care for those around her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Higgins; her father, Harold Dean Stanford; her step-father, Jim Higgins, Sr.; her step-mother, Doris Stanford; her brother, Dennis Burton Stanford; her sister, Laura Jean “Jeanne” Perkins; her nephew, Johnny Perkins, Jr.; and her step-brother, Paul Crump.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 18, at 3:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 prior to the service.
Survivors include two son, Jody Tucker and Jimmy Tucker (Stacey Pearson); her grandson and biggest joy, Levi; a special bonus granddaughter, Aubrey; her aunt, Martha McGill; her nephew, Jason (Cristal) Perkins; three nieces, Bridget (Greg) Koontz, Kelly Stanford Wilcher, and Mellie Stanford; and a several great-nieces and nephews.
