Funeral Services for Mrs. Becky Jackson Jones, age 64 of Daviston, will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Randy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Jones passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at her home. Mrs. Becky was a lifelong resident of Clay County, a 1977 graduate of Clay County High School and obtained her business degree from Gadsden State Community College. She worked for Colonial Bank as a New accounts Representative from 1989 to 2006. Next, she worked as an office manager at Lineville Healthcare group for the Clay County Homecare from 2006 until 2013. Lastly, she worked at the Lineville Clinic as a receptionist and Medical Records Clerk from 2013 until present day. Mrs. Becky’s hobbies included tending to her immaculate flower garden, spending time outside, and going shopping with her girls. Mrs. Becky had a friendly smile, a warm presence, and was always kind, compassionate, and sweet to everyone she met. She was fun to be around, and liked to laugh and enjoy life. She was an avid cat lover, and being her daughter and grandchildren was all she needed in this world. Mrs. Jones attended Mellow Valley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Abbey Jones Brown (Matthew) of Cragford; three grandchildren: Eva and Mason Brown, and a yet to be born granddaughter, Lainey Brown; two brothers: Roger Jackson (Beverly) of Prattville and Randy Jackson (Karen) of Atmore; her fiancé, John Robinson of Ashland, plus several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas E. Jackson and Joyce Ann Sanderson Jackson; and one brother, Ronnie Jackson.
Active Pallbearers will be Dewey Clifton, Robert Jones, Joel McMath, Jeremy Jackson, Josh Jackson, and Ed Clapp. The Staff of the Lineville Clinic will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Her visitation will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
