Beauton Farris Patterson, 95, died Tuesday, April 13, at Southern Magnolia, Golden, MS. She was born in Itawamba County, MS, was a graduate of Red Bay High School and had worked as a clothing retail salesperson. She helped to establish the Ridge Cemetery Fund and was active in helping with this for many years. She was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.
Services will be Thursday, April 15, 3 p.m. at Golden Central Baptist Church, Golden, MS with Bro. Mickey Trammel officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters – Judie Moore and Janie Brown (Ronnie), all of Golden, MS; four grandchildren – Chris Moore (Kim) and David Moore (Kim) all of Belmont, MS, Kassi Rushing (Mark) Madison, MS and Julianna Bostrom (Zach) Decatur, GA; nine great-grandchildren – AnaLise, Ceely, Houston, Austin, Ameslee and Afton Moore, Nora Grace, Hutson and Lewis Rushing; three sisters – Reba Prestage Coppedge, Arlene Dickson and Jean Hall and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lelon Patterson, her parents, Francis Otto and Carrie Kent Farris, a brother, Fred Farris and a son-in-law, Roger Moore.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Chris Moore, David Moore, Mark Rushing and Zach Bostrom. Honorary pallbearer will be Houston Moore.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 1-3 p.m. at Golden Central Baptist Church.
