Beauford E. Faulkner – Obituary

Funeral for Beauford E. Faulkner, 79, of Trinity will be Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dallas Culver and Bro. Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Faulkner, who died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at his residence, was born April 5, 1934, in Waterloo to Samuel and Maude Faulkner. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School and the University of Alabama. He served in the U.S. Army, worked as a chemical engineer at 3M for 30 years, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mr. Faulkner was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mable Williams and Lillian Austin; and one half brother, Luther Faulkner.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila White Faulkner; one son, Samuel Faulkner and wife, Kristi; one daughter, Mauda Terry and husband, Rodney; one brother, Lawrence Faulkner; two grandchildren, Sarah Faulkner and Ansley Terry; three stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Terry, Barrett Terry and Will Hood; and one stepgreat-grandchild, Austin McGee.

Pallbearers will be Stan Faulkner, Tal White, Keith Rose, Barrett Terry, Harry Knop and David Courington.

Honorary pallbearers will be Trinity United Men’s Sunday school class.
